What to expect.......
Ready to dive into Brazilian Waxing but nervous about the process? We are here to help guide you on your smooth skin journey.
The
Beginning

We understand waxing can feel intimidating, that's why were here to guide you every step of the way. You will want your hair length to be approximately 1/4 inch or a little longer than a grain of rice.
Are there any aftercare instructions?
Yes, you will be sent home with detailed aftercare instructions. For 24 hours after waxing you should wear loose clothes & keep the area clean & dry. 2-10 days after waxing you should gently exfoliate two to three times a week to prevent ingrown hairs. We sell a gentle chemical exfoliant if desired.
How long will it take to achieve bare skin?
The vast majority of your hair will be removed during your first wax, however, depending on your current growth cycle it may take more than one appointment to achieve perfectly bare skin if some hairs are to short to wax.
The
Experience
No need to be shy, we wax women of all shapes & sizes. You will be greeted as you walk in the door & led into the wax room. Here you will be given instructions & can share any concerns or questions you may have. Before you know it you will have smooth, soft skin, it's not as bad as you think!

FAQ
How often do I need to come in for a wax?
In the beginning we recommend coming in approximately every three to four weeks, however, as you continue to wax your hair will grow slower & thinner and appointments will gradually be pushed back with more weeks in between.
Is it painful?
As an experienced provider it is my goal to create as little sensation as possible during your treatment. Most people would describe the sensation as "ripping off a band aid" during their first experience. As you continue to wax & your hair follicle weakens the sensation becomes less & less noticeable. You may feel discomfort during your wax but the sensation is usually minimal and doesn't last longer than a few seconds.
How long should my hair be?
Your hair should be at least ¼ inch long before waxing, or a little longer than the length of a grain of rice. If your hair is too short the wax won't be able to grip it effectively. If your hair is two inches or longer you should lightly trim it before your appointment.
